[English]

Background and Objectives: The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating The effectiveness of concept mapping teaching method on analytical thinking and self-regulation of male elementary school students in tabriz city.
Methods: The research method was semi-experimental with pre-test, post-test and control group. The statistical population of this research was made up of all primary school students (sixth grade) studying in Tabriz in 1402-1403. 40 people from the aforementioned population were selected as a statistical sample and were randomly divided into two experimental and control groups, and the experimental group received the concept map training program in 8 sessions. The research tools were Peter Hani's creative thinking questionnaire, Bouffard's self-regulation questionnaire (1995). Using the Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA), the effectiveness of the concept map teaching technique was investigated.
Findings: The conceptual map educational technique program has a significant positive effect on the analytical thinking and self-regulation of students.
Conclusion: Considering the findings of this research and the theoretical and experimental support of this field, it is recommended to use this method in the educational system.
